Every dog in the below photo is a proud Geauga Mama Dogs and Pups (GMDAP) alum. Behind each pair of eyes is a journey that could have ended very differently.

• One was rescued by a Humane Officer from an unimaginable situation.
• Another was found in a frozen ditch during a brutal Ohio winter, saved thanks to a kind soul called the dog warden.
• A tiny pup arrived from West Virginia, pulled from squalor where it struggled to survive alongside its littermates.
• Another was swept away by the devastating Tennessee floods, lost and in desperate need of help.

Different beginnings. Different rescues. Different hardships. But they all share one powerful truth: because of GMDAP, they got a chance. A chance to heal. A chance to thrive. A chance to know love. A chance to feel safe.

Each of these dogs now lives in a home where they’re loved.
