Simon’s Story

We fostered Taco (now Simon), Belle and Nacho. They were found in a box in Kentucky. They were thin and hungry when we got them and had food aggression. Puppies are always hungry when they come from Kentucky – it’s a long ride! The pads of their feet had burns on them – we think from standing in urine. After I gave them all a bath, Belle sat up and put her front paws up like she was begging. I thought, “Awe how cute” and tried to get her to do it again on video. Then I looked at her feet and saw the burns. It hurt to put her feet on the ground.😢 We gave them a puppy manicure and put medicine on their paws. It took about a week for their paws to heal.

The pictures and videos are of the puppies on their ride from Kentucky, after their first bath and their first meal. Next is them getting settled in and a funny video of them eating after their food aggression improved. Keep reading to see Simon’s happy ending!

Playtime

The first video is Taco wanting to get his tennis ball down the stairs. 💗 Next, we put jackets on all the puppies so they could go out in the cold. 😊Simon (Taco) chasing his tail and finally Simon and his bother Nacho play tug-a-war.

Sleeping Puppies

We love sleeping puppy pictures!

Simon Moves to Florida!
