Little Carebear came to us with his mom and siblings, a bundle of sweetness and love 🐾 But soon, his foster mom noticed something wasn’t right—his face started to swell. Off to the vet he went, and the diagnosis was tough: puppy strangles, a painful infection of the skin and soft tissues around his face 💔. It looked terrible, and poor Carebear was suffering.

While his brothers and sisters grew healthy and strong, heading off to their new lives, Carebear had to stay behind. His journey was a bit longer, but he was a fighter. With lots of TLC, proper medication, and plenty of love from his foster family, Carebear slowly recovered. Little by little, his swelling went down, and soon enough, he was back to his adorable, handsome self 🐕💖.

Today, Carebear is living his best life with his forever family, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the happy ending.
